Yough Lake: June 14, 2009
On June 14th, 2009, nineteen teams from the Tri State Bass Circuit launched into action on the Youghiogheny Reservoir. All but two teams caught at least one legal 12 inch bass, with eight teams recording five fish limits. In total, 63 fish were weighed in at the end of the day. Back in the winner's circle was the 2008 Point Champions, Terry and Brad Weese, with their 13.56 pound bag. Claiming second place with their 11.06 pound sack, bolstered by the second big bass of the tournament, a 3.42 smallmouth, was the team of Shawn Skobel and Gary Crayton. In third place was the team of Herb Fazenbaker and Greg Haberkorn with a 10.19 pound sack of largemouth. Claiming the Carquest big bass of the day was the team of Don Upole and Bret DeWitt with a 3.54 pound largemouth bass.
