Deep Creek Lake Results: August 9, 2009
The Tri-State Bass Circuit fished its final tournament of the circuit season. The event was held on August 9, 2009 on Deep Creek Lake. The weather was warm, mostly cloudy with high winds. Despite the conditions all teams weighed fish at the end of the day and eight five fish limits crossed the scales. Finishing first was the team of Jake Fazenbaker and Lloyd Haberkorn with five bass that weighed 13.47 pounds. In second place was the team of Robert Allen and Trent Stanton with 11.48 pounds. Their stringer was anchored by a 4.10 pound largemouth, which was the big bass of the tournament. In third place were Brad Weese and Bart Shaffer with 10.86 pounds and was anchored by the second big bass of the tournament, a 3.90 largemouth. The Tri-State Bass Circuit points champions for the year are Jay Barber and Logan Crayton. The points champions will receive free entries into the 2010 season.
